OUR ACID SCRUBBER

Our 3-stage counter-current acid scrubber system oxidises and neutralises fumes from chemical recovery processes.

To manage fumes from our acid processes, we have a 3-stage counter-current acid scrubber system.

Stage 1: Fumes are oxidised via spraying with scrubbing liquors.
Stage 2: Fumes such as Chlorine and Hydrogen Chloride are removed via neutralisation.
Stage 3: Hydrogen Sulphide fumes are removed via spraying with scrubbing liquors.

The scrubber ducts are made of Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP) which has superior corrosion resistance. The re-circulating scrubbing liquors are transferred to the Wastewater Treatment Plant for treatment.
